I just read that New Orleans have 3 to 6 thousands squatters living in the city due to hurricane Katrina. I once witnessed squatter community in miami, a group of homeless people building a community in a vacant lot with any material they can find.  Some of these situations I find it sad that these people can not find true shelter, especially the new orleans victims.
